All crews from Ireland have successfully progressed to the A/B Semi-finals after Alison Bergin won her Repechage this morning in the Women’s Scull.

Fermoy’s Alison Bergin showed her pedigree in today’s Repechage, taking the lead from the first stroke and continued to build on that lead to the line. It was Ireland and China sitting comfortably ahead of the remaining crews to take those two qualifying spots into tomorrow’s A/B Semi. Alison will face Slovenia, Germany, Czech Republic, South Africa and Algeria with the top three progressing to Sunday’s medal race.
