In 2024, Adam won bronze in the BM2x at the U23 World Championships.

In 2023, he competed at the Senior World Rowing Championships in Belgrade, racing in the M4-.

Adam’s U23 success continued in 2022 when he secured bronze in the BM4- at the U23 World Championships in Varese, after winning silver in the BM4+ at the 2021 U23 World Championships.

Adam first appeared on the Irish squad in 2020, when he was selected for the Junior European Championships during the COVID-19 pandemic. He became one of the first junior men in Ireland to medal at an Olympic event, finishing with a medal in the JM4x category.

Originally from Cork, Adam started rowing in 2015 with Shandon Boat Club while also playing rugby for his local team. Rowing soon became the sport that stuck. He is currently studying Business Information Systems at UCC.
