Highlights and Key Performances

Claire Feerick from Neptune Rowing Club showcased her strength and skill, securing a commanding victory in the Women’s Senior Single Sculls.

Ronan Byrne of UCCRC delivered a remarkable performance, capturing first place in the Men’s Senior Single Sculls with a powerful row.

The combined crew from ULRC and Shannon Rowing Club demonstrated excellent teamwork and endurance, triumphing in the Women’s Senior Eight.

Cork Boat Club demonstrated exceptional skill in the Men’s Senior Eight, clinching the victory. Despite never having won the men’s senior eight before, the Cork team overcame strong challenges from UCD and Commercial, flawlessly executing their race plan.

Closing the Championships

The Irish Rowing Championships concluded with remarkable displays of talent, determination, and sportsmanship. The final day’s races were a fitting end to a weekend of intense competition and outstanding rowing.

The Rowing Ireland Offices will be closed tomorrow, Monday the 15th July. Normal office operations will resume on Tuesday 16th July.
