Unfortunately, due to unsafe conditions the upcoming HP Trial on March 8th and 9th has been cancelled. Both the wind speeds and direction that are forecast are creating conditions in the NRC that will not allow us to run the trial.
The back up date of next weekend March 15th and 16th will be used instead to run the trials with long range forecasts looking more favourable. All categories will race next week (Adaptive, Junior, U23 and Senior) and entries will carry over. Please email clara.obrien@rowingireland.ie if you have any changes to the entry due to the date change.
This year has been hit with an unprecedented number of cancelled trials so apologies to clubs and athletes for the continuous changes. More trialling options including time trials and regional events are being looked at for future events to try and reduce the number of cancellations.
