Under the leadership of Michelle Carpenter, rowing has become one of Ireland’s most successful Olympic sports, achieving two recent Olympic golds, two bronze, and a remarkable number of international medals.
Her dedication to advancing Women in Sport has led to a 50:50 gender balance at both club and Board level in 2024 and her support for encouraging female leaders in our sport is unwavering.
